Center Square Tower Residents have been requesting for more flexibility in order to pick up their packages - and now they can 24/7. The HUB is Center Square Tower’s newest amenity providing our residents an easier and more convenient solution for package pickup. Therefore, all residents will be required to have a HUB account in order to receive packages here at Center Square Towers.
The HUB addresses frustrations by carriers and residents alike concerning package delivery. It simplifies the pick up process for residents by offering quick and secure access to their packages, day or night – 24/7. For carriers, it offers a single, convenient location for package drop off.
Here is how it works: https://youtu.be/zMLxGDNmU8E
The HUB is for everyone. All delivery carriers will be using it to deliver your packages to you - UPS, FEDEX, US Mail, DHL as well as Amazon Logistic. It does not require an Amazon account nor is it for Amazon packages ONLY- BUT you do need to have an email address in order to participate. By now, all Center Square Tower residents should have received a notification via email to activate their account.
Take the time to set up your account and be sure to select to receive notification via text too. The HUB is ADA friendly so make your accessibility options in your account set up.
So how does it work?
Resident’s package is shipped to their home address.
The carrier will deliver it to one of the slots/spots in the HUB.
Once it is placed into the HUB, you will receive an email and/or text notification along with an access code.
Come down to the HUB in your Tower then enter the code into the Kiosk.
Confirm a few questions and the locker with your item in it will pop open.
Other questions our Residents may have:
I don’t order from Amazon, so I don’t need to activate an account. The HUB is NOT just for Amazon deliveries. It will accept deliveries from all carriers including: UPS, FEDEX, US Mail, DHL, as well as Amazon Logistics.
When will packages start delivering to the HUB? Our Management Team is working on getting carriers their access codes. Our goal is to have the system up and running on January 7, 2019.
What if I don’t get many packages- will I need to sign up for this? Yes – all residents will be required to activate their account so that they will be able to receive packages, even if you don’t get many or any package deliveries.
Where do the oversized packages go? If a package is too big or the HUB is full, the Carrier/delivery person will take the item to the Residents Services Office. We will put a notice on your mailbox -like we were doing before and you can pick up the package from the Residents Service Office during regular business hours.
What if I don’t have an Email Address? Don’t worry – you will continue to get a notice on your mailbox just as before and pick up your package from our Residents Services Office.
What do I do if I cannot access my package from the HUB? The HUB by Amazon offers 24/7 support. You will find their phone number conveniently at the Kiosk OR contact our Residents Service Office during normal business hours.
What do I do if I have not received my activation? If you have not activated your account, notify the Residents Service Office and we will resend the activation notice to you. However, the packages will still be delivered to the HUB and you will receive an email notification for the package which will include an activation link.
How long do I have to pick up my package? To help keep the HUB from getting full, residents are asked to pick up their packages within 3 days. After 3 days, the packages will be removed and relocated to the Center Square Towers mail room. We will put a note on your mailbox and you will be able to pick up the item from the Residents Service Office during normal business hours.
Convenience is the key to life here at Center Square Towers. We are excited about bringing this new service to our Residence. We have several other new and exciting services coming to you soon to help enhance the living experience here at Center Square Towers.
If you have any questions about the HUB, visit our Residents Services Office during normal business hours or email them to us here.
